Andy Casimir was born to the parentage of Mr. Eddy Constant Casimir and Carole Sam on December 11, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York. “Di Di”, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends completed his primary schooling in New York and completed his secondary education in Florida. In 1988, he walked across the stage in front of thousands, including his family, as he received his high school diploma from North Miami Beach Senior High School. His popularity grew but he never forgot that he was a son, a brother and a friend. During his short time on this earth, Andy managed to achieve many accomplishments beyond his age.
As a son, he treated his mother as a girlfriend, taking her hand when she was down. He loved his parents unconditionally. He would try to provide anything that they needed. Andy was a very loving son and brother. His job was endless.
As a loving and caring man, the Lord blessed Andy with four (4) beautiful children: Makkeigh, T’Tyanna, Mikala and Aurelie. He loved his children with all his heart. He was a hard working father who strived to succeed for his children’s education, instilled the highest level of morals and values into them who will undoubtedly pass on the same teachings to their children as part of his legacy. He was a wonderful father and beautiful person. He could warm anyone’s heart that came in contact with him. He touched all that knew him and he will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his family and friends who his memory will remain in their hearts forever.
Andy’s love and devotion flowed from his heart to his family and then his community. He will never be forgotten. He will be remembered for all his kind ways towards everyone.
On Monday, July 3, 2006, Andy Casimir entered into paradise. We know that he is gone in the flesh but he will always be in our hearts. His singing will always ring out in our hearts forever. His kindness can never be replaced.
