Conceptia Francois was born to the parentage of Mr. Mirabeau Francois and Marie Ann Dèrilus on April 20, 1954 in St. Marc, Haiti. “Marie,” as she was affectionately called by her family and friends completed her primary and secondary schooling in Haiti. Having completed her studies, Marie migrated to the United States in 1980 in search of a better life.

As a loving and caring woman, Marie pledged her love unconditionally in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Marcel Mentor, in 1974. The Lord blessed their union with 3 (three) beautiful children: Rony, Schilla and Marthé and 3 (three) beautiful grandchildren: Veronica, Christopher and Rony Jr. (R.J.). She loved her family and her family loved and cherished her in return. She instilled the highest level of morals and values into her three children who will undoubtedly pass on the same teachings to their children as part of her legacy.
They will always remember her as the devoted wife, mother and grandmother that she was.

Marie’s love and devotion flowed from her heart to her family and then her community. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she loved to talk about Christ and share words of encouragement with everyone her life touched. In addition, she was a member of New Church of the Nazareen under the leadership of Pastor Dorsainvil Graius. Marie enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family and friends. Anyone who became acquainted with her quickly realized that she had a good heart and a wonderful spirit. She will never be forgotten. She will be remembered for all her kind ways towards everyone.

On Monday, June 13, 2005, Our Father Who Art in Heaven called his daughter,
Conceptia Francois, to be at peace with Him in His Heavenly Realm.

She leaves to cherish special memories:
