Acefie Cadet

October 23, 1930 - June 5, 2006

Golden Book

“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down-when we die and leave these bodies-we will have a home in heaven, and eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.” 2 Corinthians 5:1

Acefie Cadet was born to the parentage of the late Grace Cadet on October 23, 1930 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. “Ta Fifi”, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends completed her primary and secondary schooling in Haiti. Having completed her studies Acefie migrated to the United States to reside with her daughter, Louloune, in 1999 in search of a better life.
The Lord blessed Acefie with 7 (seven) beautiful children (2 deceased). She loved her family and her family loved and cherished her in return. She instilled the highest level of morals and values into her children who will undoubtedly pass on the same teachings to their children as part of her legacy. They will always remember her as the devoted and faithful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dearest friend.
Acefie’s love and devotion flowed from her heart to her family and then her community. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she loved to talk about Christ and share words of encouragement with everyone her life touched. In addition, Acefie attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Acefie enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family and friends. Anyone who became acquainted with her quickly realized that she had a good heart and a wonderful spirit. She will never be forgotten. She will be remembered for all her kind ways towards everyone.
On Monday, June 5, 2006, Acefie entered into paradise. We know that she is gone in the flesh but she will always be in our hearts. Her singing will always ring out in our hearts forever. Her kindness can never be replaced. Servant of God well done, rest from thy love employ, the battle’s fought, the victory won enter Thy Master’s joy.
Family, it is alright to cry but know one thing: Acefie knew God and she had already made plans as to where she would spend eternity. A child of God has gone to be in paradise.

“Sleep on Mom and take your rest. We loved you and will always love you dearly but GOD loved you best.”
Your loving Children.
