Angelie Eugene Obituary

Angelie Andro Eugene was born to the parentage of the late Florantin Andro and Marie Toussinette Jean on September 10, 1946 in Port de Paix, Haiti. “KayKay”, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, worked as a seamstress. Angelie was a

well-known figure in her community in Haiti.

As a loving and caring woman, Angelie married the love of her life, the late Wilson Eugene, in 1968. The Lord blessed their union with five wonderful children; in where three preceded her in death (Nelly, Magalie, and Enna). Angelie was a hard working wife and mother who strived to succeed and who cared deeply for her husband and children. In 1990, a new life began as our Heavenly Father guided Angelie to join her husband in Florida and making the United States of America her permanent home. She loved her family and her family loved and cherished her in return. After 33 years of marriage, the Lord called Wilson Eugene to eternal rest. While living in Florida, Angelie worked as a baby sitter, which later landed a job at Sinai Daycare and Learning Center. She loved children. Angelie was a prayer warrior. She lived a life of service to her church. She served as a deaconess for many years and took her service very seriously.

Angelie had such a giving heart and an amazing personality. She loved nothing more than to “bay blague”, or telling jokes. She would have you laughing so much until you can’t laugh anymore. Her passion consisted of entertaining her friends and attending everyone’s funeral. Her hobbies included going to church, banquets, and traveling. She took trips to Haiti every year and has visited other countries such as: Bahamas and Mexico by cruise. She will be remembered for her attentiveness towards the needs of others, and was well appreciated in her family and friendships, especially with her church and the young people.

On the last Sunday of November 2018, she was taken to the hospital. After about a month later, she was diagnosed with brain cancer. While battling her sickness, she remained optimistic and hopeful that one day she will return home.

On July 31, 2019 at 3 pm, the time had come for her to be relieved from her pain and suffering. Her death left a void, but her memories will forever live in our hearts.

May Her Soul Rest In Peace.

Let us remember the promise found in:

1 Thessalonians 4 :16

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
