Ina Fahie Monsanto was born on March 8th 1936 on Tortola, British Virgin Islands to James and Augusta Fahie. She was one of seventeen (17) children born to the couple. She later relocated to St. Thomas, USVI where she laid down roots and built a life for her 8 children. After retirement she moved to Florida where she remind until her passing.
Along the course of her journey she was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, confidant, prayer warrior, master chef and singer. She had a gift for making everyone feel like they were welcomed and often did so by fixing them a hot plate of food, piece of freshly baked bread or a slice of home made tart.
She will be remembered as having a big voice and even bigger heart. She enjoyed singing in choir and spending time with the family she developed at Mission of Hope Worship Center. She was deeply loved and will be eternally missed by all who knew her.
