Marie Lamise Bien-Aime Desplan
Marie Lamise Bien-Aime Desplan was born in Moron, Haiti in 1939 and lived in Saint Martin from 1976, where she married her late husband Wilfred Desplan. She spent the last two years of her life in South Florida with her daughter and three grandchildren. She passed peacefully on the morning of May 4, 2019 after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life.
Marie Lamise left Haiti to have a better life for her and her family, not knowing exactly what God had in store for their future. After meeting her husband, Wilfrid Desplan, they built a legacy like no other. Marie Lamise had a passion for people and dedicated a great deal of her life's mission to taking care of and being there for others with compassion and love. She was a passionate seamstress with a great and pure heart.
Marie Lamise is survived by her only child: Micheleine Isaac; 3 grandchildren: Sandy Virgo, Vladimir Isaac and Mike Isaac; Brother: Marc Bien-Aime; grandson-in-love: Kareem Virgo and over 30 of her nieces and nephews. Close relatives that she holds near and dear to her heart are Mimose Denadier, Guillaume Jean-Phillipe, Gerard Jean-Phillipe, Emmanuel Jean-Phillipe, Reneaud Jean-Phillipe and Antonine Ulusse, Delillle, Labady, Josma, Legrand
