Marie Calvert Obituary

Marie Calvert

October 20th 1969- May 4th 2019

Born in Haiti, she was sent to Boston Massachusetts at 15 years old for a better education and life.

Marie Calvert graduated from Roxbury high School in Boston and shortly after was married to Jean Emile. Moving to New York together they produced three beautiful children.

Moving south, with her mother and her children, she made a life in Naples Florida; wanting to continue her education Marie worked as many as 3 jobs at a time and went to Edison Community College.

A few years later Marie began working of the Collier county public school system. She was an educator for about 10 years. Positively affecting the lives of the students and staff that she worked so closely with.

Mrs. Calvert also had her hand in the medical field. She was a phlebotomist, home health aide, CNA and LPN.

Having a passion for helping others, Mrs. Calvert started "Together We Stand" her own organization to help the people of Haiti after the earthquake and the fellow Haitians in her community.

After her oldest children were in college and out of the house Mrs. Calvert made her way to the east coast. She spent her remaining years in the West Palm Beach area. Working hard and making friends everywhere she went until Lord called her home.

We are now gathered her to remember the beautiful daughter, mother, educator, nurse, and friend that is and will ALWAYS be Maire Yves Clavert. May the Lord bless her soul and may they watch over us.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
