Fr. Weber wanted to be a priest but loved the gathering of a group called Petit Vermisseau, and later when heaccepted Jesus as his Savior, became a member of their church. As a member of Petit Vermisseau, he grew in faith from the help of a father figure named Fr. Alphonse. Heattended the Evangelical Theological Seminary of Port au Prince, Bolosse to deepen his knowledge in the word of God. Fr. Weber left Haiti in 1973 and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts.
