Alfonso Dorvil

Alfonso Dorvil, born on January 1, 1954, in Gonaïves, Haiti, was a devoted father, cherished family member and faithful friend whose love and wisdom will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A loving father of seven, Alfonso dedicated his life to caring for and guiding his children. Though his voice may now be silent, the lessons he taught, the values he instilled and the love he shared will remain an everlasting source of strength and inspiration.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his beloved children: Hervé Dorvil, Senelia Dorvil (husand, Plaicier Pierre), David Dorvil (wife, Ylanda Dorvil), Alfrise Dorvil and Cassandra Altidor, along with his other beloved children and family members who mourn his passing.

He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, Saintilaire Altidor and Robinson Altidor.

His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Schlordine Pierre, Schneider Pierre, Hermonde Dorvil, Hermana Dorvil, Wonder Dorvil, D’Quarius Burgers, Dean Charles, Danqe’sha Joseph, Anaya Dorvil, Lizon Dorvil and Obaniel Dorvil.

He also leaves behind a host of beloved relatives and extended family members from the Dorvil, Altidor, Charlemont and Charles families, as well as many dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.

Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the blessing of having known and loved Alfonso. His compassion, wisdom, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. His legacy will continue to live on through the generations that follow.

Your voice may be silent, but your lessons still speak. A good father, tender and kind; what a beautiful memory you left behind.
