Amilius Telsaint A native of Matumbe, Haiti was born on December 07, 1958. Brother Telsaint immigrated to America in the mid-seventies, and settled in Miami where he earned his living as Property Manager for Taylor's Guest House. In 2005, Mr. Telsaint married the love of his life, Bernice Edgecombe, a Liberty City Elementary School Paraprofessional. Amilius, of the Catholic faith, attended religious services infrequently at Miami's Norte Dame D'Haiti Catholic Church.
On September 4, 2023, after a lengthy illness, our friend and brother Amilius Telsaint was called to his heavenly home by a merciful and loving Father. Brother Telsaint leaves to mourn his passing immediate family members: wife Bernice, stepchildren Gail Collins and David Turner; grandchildren Shakeeta Collins, Antwan Peterson, Javaras Thomas (Valentine) Miami, Raquan Peterson (Wisconsin); great-grands Shalajah and Saladin Hills, Nia Peterson and Calia Lazare; nephews Lynell Jordan (Miami), Robert Battle (New York); sister-in-law Dessie Williams (Miami). Siblings include: brothers Romulus, Enrique, (Canada), Eibert (Haiti); sisters Vertuli (Atlanta), Junie/Vilha (Port St. Joe), Mary (Haiti); nieces Tiel (Louisiana), Patricia (Miami); close cousins Maurice/Mary (Ft. Lauderdale), Rony /Ramona (Miramar), Georgette/ CANTON (Miami). A host of other sorrowing relatives and friends take comfort in knowing that their beloved "T Frere" is now resting safely in the arms of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
