Andreus Mondestin

Andreus Mondestin was born in the small town of Thomazeau, Haiti on September 13, 1971. He attended the local high school in his community. He later continued his education, graduating in 1988. Andreus was the youngest son of farmer Andre Mondestin and his wife Jalourde Joseph. Andre, a hard-working farmer, raised his three children in a much-disciplined way. It was from there, that Andreus learned the importance of punctuality and good manners. After leaving home at the age of 19 years old, a musician, guitarist, pianist and drummer, he went to work in the city of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Following the 2010 Earthquake that hit Port-Au-Prince, he arrived in California to make a better living for his wife and children in Haiti. On May 29, 2017, Mr. Andreus Mondestin tragically took his last breath in front of Oak Harbor apartment complex.
