Arsene Eugene Gernier was born to the parentage of Mr. Alene Gernier and Jeanne Charles on October 7, 1965 in Arcahaie Haiti. Arsene, who was primarily raised and was the only son of his mother, was raised in a disciplined but loving and caring way and these principles guided his steps throughout his life. He attended kindergarten in a small private school in Arcahaie known by many as (Cay Liste), elementary at FIC (Frères de l'Instruction Chrétienne), middle and high school in Port au Prince at Jean Marie Guilloux where he completed up until Deuxieme Secondaire (equivalent of 10th Grade). Not finishing High School, he decided to attend vocational school at G.B Damien to become a mechanic. He worked in that field for many years before migrating to the United States in 1996. While working in Haiti at various shops in Port-au-Prince and Arcahaie where he lived, he met his first wife, Marie Myrlene Pierre, in 1990 and had two children. Due to life circumstances and many differences, the couple divorced in 1999. Arsene then found love again in Madese Omega and remarried in 2001 and had two children. The couple parted ways in 2006. It was at that time Arsene found the missing link in his life (God) to whom he devoted most of his free time in church to help others. He was guided by God to find love again in his current wife Arilia Gernier, born Munice and had two children. In 2010, he earned a vocational certificate as a Phlebotomist at Florida Technical College with his wife's support. Unfortunately, he never found employment in that field.
His journey in America began in 1996 after being granted entry through his father Alene Gernier's petition. He lived in Miami and worked at the Holiday Inn for 2 years before moving to Orlando, Florida in I998 in search of better opportunities. He was employed at Disney for 15 years and received many honors such as employee of the month and best attendance of the year to name a few. While working at Disney in 2013, he suffered a massive heart attack and was hospitalized and unresponsive for a week before God brought him back to fulfill his purpose of giving a son to his wife. He then quit working for Disney due to his medical condition and began working as a security officer for Walmart in 2014. He also performed other job duties such as tow trucking and weekend mechanic until he passed away on Sunday, May 10th 2015. In all, Arsene was a man of God, a loving husband, a devoted father, a Christian and most importantly, a family man.
