Thirteen years ago, Cados Constant was born on March 24th. He was a beautiful little baby and grew happily until about two years of age when he developed a cough that was diagnosed as Marfan's Syndrome.
From there, Cados" life became more and more affected by the symptoms of Marfan's and the medical care needed to help him. He took everything in his stride during countless procedures, tests, surgeries, hospitalizations, without becoming cynical or unable to help understand other people's feelings.
He was a normal child in many, many ways. He loved having a good time, being goofy, had a great sense of humor. He overcame everything, including all the physical problems his condition caused him, to become a straight-A student with a huge vocabulary and Math wizard.
He was polite and thoughtful and he was so close to his little sister, Chalene, and a good brother to his siblings. He did have a competitive edge where he loved to win. But he had such a love of people and having a good time, love to dance and being with people. One thing he did love was anime, and he watched that when he could. He will be missed during the storytelling of his sister because they would tell stories together.
He was also extremely polite and grateful for everything anybody did, even the things in the hospital that weren't pleasant. He thanked them for helping him. And he learned to care for all these medical needs and still carry on going to school and taking care of what he needed to do.
Most of all, though, Cados will be remembered for loving his family, loving his siblings, his grandpa, his friends, his teachers. But you know he loved most of all his mother.
