Christiana Baron Destin

Christiana Baron Destin - She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, but most of all, a child of God. On February 12, 2023, Christiana Baron Destin gained her wings and went to walk with the angels in heaven. Christiana Baron Destin was born on August 27, 1966 in Port Margot, Haiti. She was the daughter of Marie Therese-Jean and Delius Destin. She was married to Pastor Enock Baron for 35 years and they shared four wonderful children together: Edson Baron, Herine Baron-Louis, Likenson Baron, and Erica Baron. She was blessed to have left us with five beautiful grandchildren: Shaniya, Edson Jr, Malcolm, Maya and Emmie. She absolutely loved her children and grandchildren.

She never went to bed without praying for them. Christiana spent her life giving back to the world the best way she knew how, while praising the Lord with every step in her journey on this earth. Christiana worked as a caretaker to many. Though this job was extremely difficult, she loved what she did and she did it with all her heart. She treated everyone the way she would’ve have loved to be treated, which is with love and kindness.

Christiana loved to read her bible, sing, and listen to music, specifically praise and worship songs. Adoration and praise songs to the Lord had perfect attendance in her home. Christiana’s faith in God was unmatched. She loved the Lord more anything on this earth. She never went a day without letting everyone know how great is the Lord, and what he has done for her.

She had a radio in her room that stayed on one specific gospel radio station, that never turns off till this day. If you didn’t know God before walking in her home, you would leave knowing who he is. Christiana loved going to church multiple times out of the week; singing in the many church choirs and being apart of the ladies ministry group at her church. Her presence was radiant and memorable. Any who met her knew she was a child of God. Christiana devoted her life to serving God and now she can continue her work in heaven.
