Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we gather here today in the spirit of love and faith to honor the life of our beloved Aunt Christine Cham, whom the Lord called home on Tuesday, November 18th, at the age of 87. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that she now rests in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father.
Aunt Christine was a devoted aunt, a cherished friend, and a humble servant of others. Her life was marked by kindness, generosity and a quiet strength that spoke louder than words ever could. She was always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or simply sit beside someone in their time of need. She lived her faith not only in church, but in her everyday actions—through compassion, service, and love.
We remember her as a woman who gave freely of her time and her heart, reflecting the love of Christ to all who crossed her path. She leaves behind a legacy of care and devotion that will continue to guide and inspire us.
Aunt Christine was predeceased by her sisters and her brother, who have gone before her into eternal rest. Today, we take comfort in the belief that they are joyfully reunited, wrapped in God’s everlasting peace.
She is survived by her three stepsons, her two brothers—Pepe and Cherie-door—her sister, Carmen Etienne, and her 12 nieces and 9 nephews who loved her dearly. We stand together as a family, united by the memories she gave us and the love she so generously shared.
As we commend her soul to God, let us remember the words of Scripture: “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” May these words be true of her life, for she served well, loved deeply and walked with grace.
Though we mourn her passing, we give thanks for the blessing of her life. May her memory live on in our hearts and may the peace of Christ be with us today and always.
May Aunt Christine rest in eternal peace.
