Eric Charles Stuppard
was born to the parentage of the late Eric Alexander Stuppard and Mari Gladys Exil Stuppard on August 13, 1968, in St. Marc, Haiti.
"Ti Eric,"
as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was a blessed bundle of joy. He came to the United States at the age of 13 months with his parents as a result of a tumor. After the tumor was successfully removed, he triumphantly maintained a healthy life as a child and into his adult years.
Eric
began his education at Nassau School and Our Lady Help of Christians Elementary, where he warmed hearts. As a young boy, he loved to play Batman and Robin with his brother Goodwin, he being batman and tying a sheet around his neck to play, jumping off beds to play the game. He continued his education at Mount Carmel Middle, where he touched many lives and showed a desire to succeed. He loved to watch television especially horror movies and play video games. His tenacity and courage allowed him to overcome all obstacles. Advancing on to Clifford J. Scott High School,
Eric
managed to achieve many accomplishments beyond his age graduating with his high school diploma. He then continued on to a technical school in the state of Delaware, where he graduated and received a diploma as a truck driver. Along the years, he disliked driving trucks and went to pursue other career choices.
Eric
was a very reserved and quiet person but yet friendly. He was a hardworking father who strived to succeed and who cared deeply for his children. His life was fulfilled with joy and happiness when on November 7th 1993, April 13th, 2005 and September 19th 2007, his three beautiful children were born: Zhameka, Eric Junior and Evan. He loved to spend time with all his children. They were the most important part of his life including his mother, with whom he lived with until his final days. He loved his family and they loved and cherished him in return. As a son,
Eric
was very protective of his mother, taking her hand when she was down. He spent his life living with his mother. He loved her unconditionally.
Eric
was a devoted father and son. Although
Eric
had other siblings, he was the most spoiled and favorite by his mother, Gladys. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He spent every Sunday with his nephew Benard watching movies. He was also a joker being witty. He always said, "I'm living life to the fullest – I don't know about you." He is preceded in death by his father, the late Eric Alexander Stuppard.
