Felicidad Belizaire

Felicidad Belizaire, affectionately known as “Dada,” was a profoundly beautiful soul that captured the hearts of everyone she encountered. There aren’t many words that can describe how extraordinary Felicidad was as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was born to the late Samuel Belizaire and Maltile Saint-Fort on August 4, 1948, in Baie Des Moustiques, Haiti and briefly lived in Freeport, Bahamas before she came to the United States in 1979. Felicidad went on to create extensions of herself and conceived three children whose lives she would help shape in many ways. She was also equally committed to working hard and providing a better quality of life for those she left behind in Haiti while simultaneously teaching her children to put God first and to love deeply. Felicidad created a path for her children of structure and life morals that will forever be with them. Felicidad left an imprint on the lives of everyone she would meet; she created a beautiful life, leaving behind her smile, laughter, and sweetness. Each and every person that had the opportunity to meet Felicidad will miss her greatly.
