Fritz Prepetit

Fritz Prepetit naquit à Port-au-Prince d’Emmanuel Prepetit et de Denise Lalanne. Il fut l’aîné de sept enfants. Fritz fit ses études au Petit Séminaire Collège Saint Martial et au Collège Jose Marti où il rencontra sa future épouse Gladys Saint-Amand et ils ont célébrés 61 ans de mariage. If fit ses études de comptabilité travailla chez Raymond Flambert, et apres quelques années il ouvrit son magasin de matériaux de construction Frico Store à la Grand rue.

Fritz avais une passion pour l’équitation et fut membre du club d’équitation. Il aimait le jardinage, Fritz avait la main verte et souvent greffait des manguiers pour ses amis. Il aimait la natation, conduire et visiter les villes dés États-Unis de l’ouest à l’est. Expert mixologue, Il aimait préparer ses petits cocktails, crémas et de la crème à la glace. Fritz a toujours eu le cœur sur la main toujours prêt à aider tout le monde.

Il a eu six enfants, Nadja, Pascale, Martine, Tamara, David. Fritz fut précédé par son fils Harry, son frère Emmanuel et sa sœur Suze.

Condoléances à sa femme Gladys Saint-Amand Prepetit, à ses enfants Nadja Prepetit Barnett et son époux Carlton Barnett, Pascale Prepetit Louis et son époux Rony Louis, Martine Prepetit, Tamara Prepetit, David Prepetit et son épouse Pascale Barthelemy Prepetit, à ses petits-enfants Jonathan et son épouse Caitlin, Lauren, et Natalie Barnett, Alexa, Sylvie, et David Prepetit, Charles-Philippe Louis, Olivia Bosquet et Evan Darbeau, ses sœurs Nicole Wade, Edith Cooke et époux, Marlene Andugar et époux, son frère Paul, son beau frère Barry Fuch et belle sœur Mirtho Prepetit, ses nombreux cousins et cousines, neveux et nièces, et aux familles Prepetit, Saint-Amand, Barnett, Louis, Barthélémy et Bosquet.

Fritz Prepetit was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, from the union of Emmanuel Prepetit and Denise Lalanne.  He was the first born of seven children.

He studied at “Petit Séminaire Collège Saint Martial”.  He later attended “College Jose Marti” where he would meet his future spouse Gladys Saint-Amand and they celebrated 61 years of marriage.  He studied accounting and started working at Raymond Flambert.  After a few years he opened his own hardware store called Frico Store on “Grand Rue”.

Fritz had a passion for horseback riding and was a member of the Equestrian Club. He enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb. He has done several mango tree grafts for friends over the years. He loved swimming and road trips, visiting towns all over Haiti and the US, from coast to coast. He was a mixologist preparing “crémas” and cocktails as well as homemade ice-cream of varied tropical flavors.

He was big-hearted and was always ready to go above and beyond to help anyone who was in need. He had six children Nadja, Pascale, Martine, Tamara, David.

He was preceded in death by his son Harry, his brother Emmanuel and sister Suze.

Condolences to his wife Gladys Saint-Amand Prepetit, his children Nadja Prepetit Barnett and spouse Carlton Barnett, Pascale Prepetit Louis and spouse Rony Louis, Martine Prepetit, Tamara Prepetit, David Prepetit and spouse Pascale Barthelemy Prepetit, his grandchildren Jonathan and his spouse Caitlin, Lauren and Natalie Barnett, Alexa, Sylvie and David Prepetit, Charles-Philippe Louis, Olivia Bosquet and Evan Darbeau, his sisters Nicole Wade, Edith Cooke and her spouse, Marlene Andujar and her spouse, his brother Paul, his brother in law Barry Fuch and his sister in law Mirtho Prepetit, his many cousins, nephews and nieces, to the Prepetit, Saint-Amand, Barnett, Louis, Barthélémy and Bosquet Families.
