Guy Celiant

Guy Celiant, the fifth son of 12 children, was born to the parentage of the late Lucien Celiant and Illovia Julceus on September 1, 1952 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. "Ti Guy," as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, completed his primary and secondary education in Haiti. He then attended J.B. Damien, a professional school, where he became a plumber and an electrician. In 1979, a new life began as the Lord guided Guy into making the United States of America his permanent home. As a strong loving and caring man, Guy pledged his love unconditionally in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, the late Mona Delmas. The Lord blessed their union with 3 wonderful children: Valery, Gloria and Letissia. Guy was a hard-working husband and father who strived to succeed and who cared deeply for his late wife and children. He loved his family and his family loved and cherished him in return. He instilled the highest level of morals and values into his children who will undoubtedly pass on the same teachings to their children as part of his legacy. He made sure his children knew God first, their Haitian culture and the will to serve. They will always remember him as the devoted father, brother, cousin and friend that he was. He was preceded in death by his 7 siblings and brother-in-law.
