Julia Lyns

Our dear Mother, Grandmother, Aunt Julia, sadly passed away on May 16th , 2024, at the age of 76. Julia was born in Jacmel, Haiti to a family deeply rooted in values, morals, and community. From a young age, Julia showed an exceptional aptitude for business, trade, and commerce. Her passion for business and a devotion to provide for her family, spearheaded her to many countries in South America and the Caribbean selling merchandise in Puerto Rico, SantoDomingo, Panama, Haiti, and the U.S. In 1980, after years of traveling, she decided to come to the U.S. to pursue better opportunities and worked as a housekeeper and waitress. She was a very hard-working woman.

Julia loved attending church, listening to the gospel, praying for and with others, spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her. Her unwavering support and love for her family and community left an indelible mark on countless lives. She was loved by her family, friends, and her community. She was a pillar of her community.

She is survived by her two children Marie Lourdes Lyns & Alden Destin. Her Grandchildren; Junior Lyns, Ricardo Aladin, Akim Lyins, Sheryl Destin, Sheridan Destin, Jayden Destin, Shaylee Destin, Grayson Trimmer, and Claire Rushing. Her Sisters, Marie Analie Lyns, Solange Lyns, and Fatina Lyns. Her Nieces; Antoinise Vixama, Mikerline Lyns, Gina Louis, Fedeline Lyns, Guerline Louis Jacques, Rosena Louis Jacques, Natasha Savoir, Mamoune Savoir, Mireille Savoir and Gina Louis Jacques. Her Nephews; Amerite Louis Jacques, Jeanville Louis Jacques, Rodely Desrosiers, and Jean Therly Desrosiers. Her Great Nephews ; Shelton Lyns, Jeremiah Lyns, Therlyns Vixama, Shaun Louis Jacques, and Noah Louis Jacques. Her Great Nieces; Ansiadiny Vixama, and Abigail Louis Jacques.

Our dear Mother, Grandmother, Aunt Julia in heaven, thank you for always loving us and guiding us. Even though you are no longer here with us I can still feel your love guiding us. You are always in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly.
