Leober Marius

Leober Marius was born in Jean Rabel on August 10, 1949 to the parentage of Lenoire Marius and Elizia Marius. He was the 4th child of 7 children, with 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Four of his siblings are still alive. He was married to Marguerite Lubin who passed away in 1992 with whom he had 2 children, Adelene and Michelet Marius. He was a true believer who always wanted to help and advise. He loved to dress appropriately. In order to provide for his family, Leober came to the US in 1980. He was a hard worker. Upon arriving, he began to work in construction and later pursued a career as a foreman. He was a man with a big heart who he always had so much to give. He could be walking in the street hungry with only five dollars in hand, but would give it to someone in need. Leober was an active member of New Covenant Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Charles Jones, where he served as a deacon. While living in the U.S., he married Josie Michel. He was a father of 2, a brother to seven, a grandfather to six, a friend to many more and a motivator to the people who needed him most. Leober Marius was a father to some, brother to others and friend for many. On Thursday, the 11th of May 2017, God called him Home. He leaves to cherish his memories: His children: Adelene and Mitchelet His grand-children: Shannon, Larry, Shamiah, Elijiah, Naeemah and Hanaaah His brother: Ilandieu Mareus, and other siblings not present today, And a host of family and friends who have been affected by this loss. He left us and today we are here to present our last respect but for those who knew him he will always be in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
