Lormilia Gedehomme

Lormilia Gedehomme was born on June 13, 1949, in Fond Lagrange, Haiti to the parentage of the late Sereste Mezamourand Luc Eustache. Lormilia was an entrepreneur in her early ages before coming to United States. Lormilia loved to travel between the Bahamas and Haiti selling merchandise. The Lord blessed this hardworking mother with a total of 9 children; four girls and five boys; one of them preceded her in death (6 currently live in the US and 3 live in Haiti.)    She taught her children how to cook, clean and to take care of themselves when she was away.     At the age of 39, Lormilia came to America to start a new and better life for herself along with her children. She was a housekeeper and loved to watch tv. Cooking was her passion. Lormilia was a faithful church member. She strived to live a life like the Lord Jesus Christ by serving others. Despite her illness she was a very strong woman who never gave up inlife. She put a smile on everyone’s heart that she touched. Lormilia had a total of 20 grandchildren that she loved very much, along with six great grandchildren.

On Thursday, June 13th of 2019, Lormilia Gedehomme was called Home to be with the Lord. The world lost a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother, but her legacy will continue. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is resting peacefully in the hands of God.
