Luke Bryant

December 4, 1938 — August 14, 2024

Luke Bryant

Luke Bryant was born December 4, 1938, in Live Oak, Florida, to Alberta Thomas and P.J. Bryant. The family moved to Orlando, Fl., where he was employed as a family and private chauffeur for many years.

He was affectionately known to family and friends as Uncle Shorty. He was very wise, strong, and funny. He enjoyed watching Western Cowboy movies, supported family Hog Off, and loved to eat fish.

Luke gave his life to Christ in his late 40’s and was a devoted Christian. He enjoyed worshipping with his church family at Progressive Freewill Holiness Church of God under the leadership of Bishop James McFarley.

He was preceded in death by both parents, a son and sisters. Luke leaves to cherish his memories of his favorite loving nieces Latoya Young and Den’Taesia, great nieces; Za'Niyah Hamilton, Tori'Anie Dixon, U'Nique Dixon; Great nephews: Da'Mani Benjamin, Messiah Benjamin and special friend, Freddie Mae (Spiritual Advisor).

“Shorty” was seen as a light to all those around him, he brought joy and laughter into every room he walked into and he will be missed dearly.

May His Soul Rest in eternal peace.
