Lynn M. Johnson

On January 1, 2024, Lynn Montez Johnson was lovingly escorted to her Heavenly home, leaving behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and joy.

Born in Orlando, FL, Lynn was the cherished youngest of six children to the late Henry Myers Jr. and Velma Myers. A proud alumna of Jones High School, she was nurtured through the Orange County public school system, embodying the spirit
of her community in every endeavor.

Lynn's professional journey was as diverse as it was rich, she was a certified security officer and commercial driver, and she found her calling in the hospitality industry. Her passion for cooking and catering was not just a career but a way to
connect with and serve others. As an in-home support aide, Lynn's generosity and care touched many lives, further extending her impact within her community.

A devout member of ACE Faith Kingdom Church in Orlando, FL, Lynn's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her belief was not silent; she spoke boldly of God’s love, sharing the gospel enthusiastically with all she met.

Lynn's heart found its match forty-eight years ago in her beloved husband, Earl Johnson. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming four children into the world. Her love for family was boundless, from traveling and cooking to dancing and imparting invaluable life lessons, every moment with Lynn was a treasure.

She leaves behind a tapestry of memories and love in her husband, Earl Johnson; her children, Erica Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Earl Johnson, and Essence Johnson; siblings, Barry Myers (Carmen), Ronald Myers (Melandie), and Cheryl Myers; her grandchildren, Erionah Williams, Kyliee Smith, Andia Wilson, Kennedy Smith, Kiersten Smith, Kaiden Smith, Kaleb Smith, and Kairo Johnson; and her godchildren, Tyler Poole, Zyon Glenn, and Jenesis Jackson. Her legacy will also be cherished by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Velma Myers, and her sisters, Janet Allen, and Paulette Robinson. Lynn's spirit will continue to inspire those who know her.

Lynn Montez Johnsons life was a beacon of love, resilience, and joy. As we celebrate her journey and mourn her passing, we hold close to the countless lives she touched and the profound love she shared.
