Lyviane Jean, born Lyviane Renaud was a beacon of faith, humility, generosity, and quiet strength. Born on December 27th, 1982, in Petit-Goave, Haiti, she was the cherished daughter of Jeanot Renaud and Merithane Etienne.
In October 1991, she emigrated to the United States to build a new life with her adoptive mother, Olivia Renaud (who has preceded her in death), her older sister Eveline Renaud, and her younger brother Jeanot Renaud Jr. who was born a few years later. Lyviane graduated from Central High School in 2002, marking the beginning of a bright journey filled with love and compassion. She welcomed her first son, Romeo Eddy Jean, in May 2003, and married her first husband, Ernst Jean Jr., in 2005, with whom she had her second son, Ernst Jean III (EJ), in October 2006. Although her marriage ended in divorce in 2009, she continued to shape a loving environment for her children.
In September 2018, Lyviane found love again and married Samuel Sainvil, adopting their daughter, Wildania Sainvil. To improve her health and well-being, she moved to Florida in November 2022, seeking relief from the cold weather that had negatively impacted her.
Lyviane is survived by her loving stepfather Yves Alphonse; Her brothers: Herby and Frantsxo Alphonse; Her sisters: Emanie, Mickentya and Yvena Alphonse. Lyviane’s impact extended beyond her immediate family. She cherished her nephews and nieces: Rose-Maylyn and Eden Guerrier, Raphaella Alphonse, Francesse Alphonse, Mam’s Jean, Alpha Blondy Alphonse, Josue Francois, Michael Merilus, Jeda Popotte, Diamond Ridore and Noah Augustin. She also held her bonus kids, Jax, Jaylen and Jagger Jean close to her heart, along with her godchildren King Liberis and Edelene Rinvil, among many others.
Her spirit lives in the hearts of her multiple cousins, family members, best friends and all those special acquaintances she held dear. To know Lyviane, was to truly love her. She had a unique way of calling everyone “love,” and it was evident that she genuinely meant it. Through all of life’s challenges, she fought valiantly, always wearing a smile and maintaining her unwavering faith. Raised in the church, Lyviane’s devotion to worship and praise was one of her greatest eight joys, and it was inspiring to see her lift God’s name in praise.
The impact she had on all of us is immeasurable and saying she will be missed feels like an understatement. Let us hold onto the memories we have of her and continue to celebrate her life and legacy. Let us all remember Lyviane for her incredible spirit and the many ways she enriched our lives with her love and kindness. We can honor her memory by continuing to carry her values of faith and generosity in our hearts.
