Marie Ange Nicole Denis was born on December 5, 1955, in Port-de-Paix, Haiti, to the late Mr. Nicolas Moreau and Olypcide Demard Jacques.
She completed her primary education at École Primaire Jacques Maure Pas and went on to pursue her secondary education at Lycée Tertulien Guilbaud and Collège des Adventistes in Cap-Haïtien.
Nicole was exceptionally talented and multi-skilled. She began her professional journey as a primary school teacher at École Primaire Maître François Moreau. She later relocated to Gonaïves, where she attended professional school and honed her talents in the culinary, fashion, and textile industries, becoming a skilled seamstress and chef.
Nicole traveled frequently between Haiti and the United States before permanently migrating in 1989 to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with her daughter, Angie. In the United States, she worked in the healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant, serving others with dedication and compassion.
She retired in 2016 to devote herself to help raise her beloved grandson. Nicole was an active and faithful member of Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church and was also a frequent visitor at Elim.
Nicole was loving yet no-nonsense, a woman of strength and principle. She expressed her love through service, often delighting those closest to her by baking pain patat and preparing kremas for her favorites during the holiday season.
She passed away on January 9th following health complications.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Angie Denis, and her cherished grandson, Noah Denis.
