Miguel Angel Sanabria

Miguel Angel Sanabria was born on March 6, 1959, to Miguel Angel Padilla Sanabria and Virginia Velazquez Chevena in Guanica, Puerto Rico. When he was 3 years old, he moved to New York with his parents. Miguel began school at the age of 5 and continued until he graduated from high school. He was an active and devoted member of Saint Rita’s Church in Brooklyn, New York, where he made his first communion and participated in various church activities, including plays and dances.

Miguel worked at Industrial Finishing Inc for 20 years until the company closed, which led him to find a job at LaGuardia Airport for 3 years. After leaving LaGuardia, he was hired by a local church to help feed the elderly. Known for his generosity and humility, Miguel was a loyal and caring individual. He cherished spending time with his siblings during family gatherings and holidays. He enjoyed dancing, reading the Bible, and frequently calling his mother. Going to church was important to him, and he particularly loved Easter and Christmas. Miguel was fond of Christ-themed movies like “Jesus of Nazareth,” “The Passion of the Christ,” and “The Resurrection of the Christ,” often reminding his family to watch them. He also looked forward to attending Midnight Mass on Christmas, known as Misa de Gallo, to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World.

Miguel was preceded in death by his father; Miguel Angel Sanabria Padilla and his baby brother, Martin Sanabria.

On December 3, 2025, the Lord called Miguel Angel Sanabria to rest.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories:

Mother: Virginia Sanabria; Sisters: Nancy Medina, Mildred A. Sanabria, Tecesita Algarin, and Lily Sanabria; Brothers: Rosario Sanabria, Alberto Sanabria, Martin Sanabria, and Jesús Sanabria; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

May His Soul Rest In Peace.
