Monfort Pierre Louis (birth name Monfort Michaud) was one of four children from the marital union of Serazin Michaud and Charite Pierre Louis; both are now deceased. Monfort was born on December 21,1945 in Port de Paix, Haiti. He went to school at Frere de L'Instruction Chretienne in the same city. He went to Lycee de Port de Paix until class Philo.
In 1970, Monfort taught mathematics to the class Rheto, and class Philo at Massillon Coicou. In 1973, the Banc National of Credit needed one person in each department to hire and they wanted the best of the best. All the prospects took an exam and the one with the highest score would be hired. Monfort Michaud had the highest score and he was hired as an accounting manager, personal gestion. In 1986, he was transferred to Port au Prince at the banc Central. In 1990 he transferred to Banc National de Credit in Petionville. In 1992, he became inspector at the control department to inspect all banks from fraud prevention until retirement.
On December 22, 1977 Monfort married his wife Arlette Louis Michaud and six children were born from this union: Nasser, Muller, Kattia, Sandra, Daniella and Kerby. In 1996, the family moved to the United States. In that same year, Monfort professed his life to Christ. He joined the church and cherished praising the Lord. Serving within several communities; he always enjoyed helping others. Monfort loved to read his bible, praying for and with others.
He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father, and friend. He was always thinking of others first. He devoted his time to work with his grandchildren Fabiola, Marvin, Daniel, and Briana. He loved knowledge and was always wanting to learn something new and teach his grandchildren.
Monfort went to be with the Lord on August 06, 2023 and leaves so many to cherish his loving memory. He leaves his wife Arlette, his only one sister Anne Marie Michaud, eight children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, cousins and a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
