Myrtha Michel

Myrtha Michel, maiden name Myrtha Charitable, was born on October 5, 1961 in Port Au Prince, Haiti to the parents of Thelume and Marie Therese Charitable. She is the 3rd of five siblings: Marie Carmen, Yves, Nirva, and Harold. All of whom currently live in Florida USA. When she was just a teenager, Myrtha accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Myrtha attended multiple schools in Haiti. During her high school years, she moved to the US where she pursued a bachelor's degree in social work, specializing in healthcare. But she unfortunately never had the chance to work in her field.

She was a mother of one child, Sarah Joachim. Sarah was her greatest joy! She dedicated her life to supporting, loving and guarding her. She was always present at her school events, cheering her on. She raised Sarah with courage and devotion.

Some people don’t apologize when they make a mistake. But not Myrtha! Every time she did something wrong, she would always seek to make things right and God praises that in the Word of God.

She loved spending time in the library, reading and researching. And when it came to music, she was a big country fan! And her favorite radio station was Z88.3.

Finally, in November 2023, after she had been hit by a truck, she never recovered from the injuries until she passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Myrtha, rest in peace; you are deeply missed and always loved. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
