Presnel Hyppolite

Presnel Hyppolite also known as "Enoy" was born on November 20, 1953 to the late Mr. Chinois Hyppolite and Mazilia Marcellus in L'asile Haiti. He was one of six children and was the first to embark out of the country in 1977 and reside in St. Maarten. In 1983 he married longtime childhood friend, Ivrose Gouin and they immigrated to the United States in 1987. The Lord blessed them with two children, Nadege and Lunie. What was well known about Presnel was that he was a hard worker and generous. He taught his children the importance of education and supported them to achieve academic success. He was kind and loving and was someone who was always there to give advice and make you feel comfortable to express yourself freely. Enoy was always available to help when someone was in need. In fact, that was a principle that he instilled in his children. Enoy was a man of few words but when he did speak, it was to share knowledge, bring laughter and give encouraging words. He valued family so much that he spoke to his family every single day without ever missing a moment to connect. Nobody wants to have to say goodbye to their husband, father, brother, uncle or friend, but God has other plans in store for us. The Lord gave and the Lord took away, may His name be Glorified. Enoy would want us to be happy and celebrate this moment because weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
