Rita Valcin

Rita Valcin was born on June 26, 1958, in Cap- Haitian, Haiti. She was the daughter of Mr. Pierre Jean and Mrs. Zulna Jean (born Zulna Antoine). She was the second child of twelve children. She attended the Seven Day Adventist school for her primary and High school in Cap-Haitian. In 1987, she immigrated to the United Stated for a better life. While settled in the United State, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl name Chairline.

On September 2nd, 1991, she joined Dieumene Valcin in holy matrimony. From that blessed union, her second child Mackenson Valcin was born.

Rita Valcin was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always willing to help others. She was very generous. She was full of life and cared for her family and friends.

Rita was a true servant of the Lord, and she was devoted to her church. She was a member of Sinai SDA Church since 1987 until she passed away. She was always willing and ready to serve the church, however her help was needed. She was part of the deacon, and an adult choir member of the church.

Rita is survived by her CHILDREN: Chairline Jean and Mackenson Valcin; her GRANDCHILDREN: Andrew St. Louis, Nariyah Dumorney, Chamar Carey, and Ah’Maya Valcin; BROTHERS and SISTER: Devese Jean, Pierre Jean Fils, Toussaint Jean, Macius Jean, & Tousseline Jean Telusma; UNCLE and AUNTS: Obed Antoine. Cecile St. Hilaire, Mme, Heribert Germain, Mme. Necker Navarre, Evodie Antoine, Elienne Antoine, Anadette Romain; COUSINS: Mr. Duly St. Hilaire, Wilson Germain, Renan Germain, Dulene Gedeon, Anna Pierre, Dr. Michael Darley Pierre, Nerline Navarre, Bedia Navarre, Suze Navarre, Evelyne Germain and a host of other family members, church members and friends that will miss her dearly.
