Roselaine Toussaint

February 11, 1950 — February 4, 2024

Roselaine Toussaint

On February 11th, 1950, the Lord blessed us with the birth of Roselaine "Nou-Noun" Toussaint (nee Sylvestre) to Iramonde Heriveaux and Duchaine Sylvestre in Pignon, Haiti. Roselaine received an education in Haiti, where she became a professional secretary. She married the love of her life, St. Pierre-Louis Toussaint (deceased), and moved to Montreal, Canada, in 1971 to start their life together. Nou-noun was caring and compassionate. She supported her husband with all his endeavors, no matter how ambitious and challenging. Roselaine loved and cared for anyone who crossed her path. She would feed you if you needed food and clothe you if you required clothes with no hesitation.

In 1989, at her beloved husband's request, Roselaine moved again to a different country. She moved her family to Florida, where she spent the remainder of her life. She made incredible friends and dotted her family during her life's journey. Roselaine retired as a Certified Nurse's assistant in 2009 due to illness. Since 2009, Roselaine has cared for her family, friends, and people in Haiti. Roselaine embodied Christian faith, kindness, caring, and love. She will be missed immensely.

Roselaine is survived by her beloved children Pierre-Louis R. Toussaint (Pedro) and his life partner Brenda Piantini, Pierrot Toussaint, Peggy Julien (nee Toussaint) and her husband, Nickson Julien. Her grandchildren, Kassandra and Penelope Toussaint, Tatianna and Allyssa Toussaint, and Dylan, Michael, & Jonathan Julien. Her siblings Lucien, Richmond, Wilner, Humaine, Estanie, Ducange, Sergot, and Gisele. Her nieces and nephews Rod, Katia, James, Marc Andre, Ludzen, Rodney, Lourdes, Patricia, Limke, Kemly, Carl, Linouse, and France.

May Her Soul Rest in Peace, With the Angels
