Rose Marie Saint Paul

It is with profound sadness that we mark the departure of our beloved Rose Marie Saint Paul, who left us on January 30, 2024. A treasured wife, mother, aunt, and friend, Rose Marie was a beacon of love and strength in our lives.
Born on August 3, 1960, in Bidouze, Aquin, Haiti to parents Paulcius Saint Paul and Diziane Desteril, Rose Marie was the youngest among four children. At the tender age of 24, she
ventured from Haiti to make her home in Saint Maarten, where she united with her life partner, Emael Marcelin, in 1985. Their family journey began in Saint Maarten with the arrival of their first child, Nadine, in 1987. Seeking better opportunities, the family moved to Miami, Florida, in
March 1990 and finally settled in Orlando, Florida a few months later. This is where their daughters, Kathleen and Joan, joined their expanding family.
Rose Marie, initially a teacher in Haiti, always remained driven and focused. She put herself through school to become a nurse’s aide, a role she was greatly admired for by her colleagues.
To those who knew her, she embodied the virtues of a Proverbs 31 wife - virtuous, faithful, diligent, and meek. Her life was a testament to her noble character, revolving around her family.
Rose Marie was a prudent and determined wife and mother, making sacrifices for her family’s well-being.
Her favorite pastimes included watching Family Feud with her husband during weeknights, playing Bingo with the elderly, and taking family trips. A woman of deep faith, Rose Marie was an active church member who blanketed her family with fervent prayers.
Her legacy lives on through her three daughters: Nadine Marcelin, Kathleen Williams, and Joan Farquharson, and four grandchildren, Aniyah Biggs, Londyn Williams, Jayce Farquharson, and Alani Farquharson. Her daughters were her greatest joy, and she instilled in them the same
hardworking and sincere spirit that guided her own life.
Surviving Rose Marie are her sisters Malida Saint-Paul, Azalie Saint-Paul, Luziane Saint-Paul; her nephews and nieces Lessinor Hippolyte, Acenor Hyppolite, Guinor Hyppolite, Evenor Hyppolite, Desinor Hyppolite, Sonia Hyppolite, Garry Hyppolite, Guirleine Masson, Gerline Masson, Agenor Masson, Lizene Masson, Roseline Masson, Loudine Masson, Claudy Masson, Jean-Resnel Esperance, Micheline Esperance, Frantzsy Esperance; Rose Marie leaves behind
countless family members and close friends, including Marie Altha Hippolyte, Tatyana Hippolyte, Kersandre Hippolyte, Kersy Hippolyte, Gernite Dormevil, Armante Dupuy, and Angela Desiral.
Rose Marie’s journey from Haiti to Florida symbolizes her courage, resilience, and unyielding commitment to securing a better life for her family. Her memory will be cherished for her
humility, strength, and limitless love for her family and friends.
As we grieve Rose Marie’s loss, we also honor her extraordinary life and treasure the memories we made with her. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire us all.
