Our beloved Ruth was born on July 31, 2003, at Arnold Palmer Hospital to Marcial and Naelle Jean-Noel with her twin sister, Rebecca, who died two days after her birth. Ruth was a vibrant, loving, and energetic little girl. Ruth was loved by everyone. Whenever she comes around, she always has a bright smile on her face. She lights up every room that she goes into.
Ruth was also a fighter. Ruth was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and many people didn’t have any hope that she would continue to live, especially her doctors, however, Ruth proved them wrong. Her doctor says she wouldn’t pass her 10th birthday, but she fought for 9 more years and made it to her 19th birthday, two months shy of her 20th birthday.
Ruth loved to laugh, listen to her Tibob, enjoy spending time with her sisters when they come in to give her all the tea, and even though she couldn’t give us a response we could always tell what she wanted to say. Ruth was gentle but sassy, especially if we didn’t put on her favorite kinds of music. Even though it’s sad that we won’t see Ruth anymore, we are happy because our sweet girl is finally at peace. She doesn’t have to worry about surgeries, doctors visit, and pain anymore. She can finally rest in peace in heaven with her twin sister and grandfather. Ruth has left behind her loving parents, Marcial and Naelle, and her older siblings, Lefki and Berenice, her little sisters, Eunice, and Debora, and both of her grandmothers, all her aunts, and uncles with hundreds of cousins.
To our beloved Ruth, May your Soul Rest in peace, and to everyone else, cherish your loved ones every day and live for today. Don’t stress about the past or the future. Life is too short, enjoy the moments that you have. Thank you!
Bible Verse
John 15:16 “Ye have bit chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
