Sainte A Dieujuste

Our beloved mother, Sainte was born in L'Artibonite, Haiti, to Jerome and Telcina Dieujuste. She was so much more than a mother. She was a devoted mom, grandmother, sister, auntie, and cousin to all who knew and loved her. A woman of incredible strength, faith, and resilience — a hard worker who gave everything she had to make sure her children were always taken care of. Her love was selfless, her sacrifices were endless, and her presence was our anchor.

Today we celebrate a legend.
She is survived by her loving children: Ketty Deshommes, Amenide Mezier, Ailey Obas and Jesula Baptiste. Her sons and daughters-in-law: Berman Deshommes, Velas Mezier and Cindie Obas.

Her cherished grandchildren: John Mezier, Andy Mezier, Mollie Obas, AJ Obas, Alain Obas, Mercy Obas, Zavyeh Baptiste, Sayaelle Nozius, Riley Obas, Sarah Deshommes and Junior Deshommes; Her dear sister Charles Julien and her many beloved nephews and nieces from the Dieujuste, Eliassaint, Beaubrun and Julien families and all those whose lives she touched.

Mom, we love you with all our heart. Thank you for being our legend, our protector, our teacher and our home. Your love will continue to guide us. Your strength will continue to live in us.

May your soul rest in eternal peace and happiness.
Fly high, legend. We will never forget you.
