Teresa R. Pace

Teresa Renee (Peaches) Pace was born on January 11th, 1969 to her loving mother Lola Mae Webb and a devoted father Willie Pace. Teresa was born in Tuskegee Alabama where she lived the first two years of her life. The family moved to Orlando, where Teresa spent most of her life. Most of her childhood was spent with her older and younger sister Brenda and Marsha Pace. Like any other siblings they spent time enjoying each other’s company and getting on each other’s nerves. Teresa was often described as the nurturer. Being the self-proclaimed “Mother of the family” her main goal was making sure everyone around her was well taken care of.

Teresa attended Ivey Lane Elementary, Tangelo Park Elementary, Carver middle, and later received her GED before entering the workforce. Teresa started her career in hospitality in 1987. After working and serving for several different food chains, Teresa worked her way into management in 1999. With the pride she took in her work and her devotion as an employee it later lead to Teresahaving multiple management position. Teresa was praised by her employees’ and loved by her customers. She made an impact on people in every phase of her career. You could often find her coworkers at her house for dinner or spending time with her outside of work being mentored or guided.

Teresa first marriage was to William Kirkland. William and Teresa were childhood sweethearts. Living a fairytale, they were joined n Holy Matrimony in 1988. As a couple their greatest accomplished came in 1992 when they were blessed with their only child, Demetrielle Pace. They remained married for 14 years. Teresa’s second marriage was to Jean Joseph in 2002. Teresa helped Jean transition into the American lifestyle and Jean became a secondary father to her daughter, growing her into adulthood. Teresa and Jean remained married for 14 years.

Teresa retired in 2010. After retirement, she spent most of her time being a caretaker for young children. She found pleasure in helping the youth reach their full potential. Teresa often said “take care of the children, as they are the future, damn the adults”. Teresa’s greatest accomplishment was when she rededicated her life to Christ in 2012. She became a dedicated christian and held multiple positions in her church, including serving as an usher and church treasurer. Teresa had a rewarding life praising the Lord, traveling, helping others, and enjoying her family to the fullest.
