Trevor Horace Taffe

Trevor Horace Taffe was born on September 30, 1949, in Kingston, Jamaica, Trevor was the beloved son of Alganon Taffe and Cythnia(Meikle)Hubbard. In his primary years, Trevor Horace Taffe attended Teacher Thompson Prep School and Renaclog Elementary School. He came to the United States of America in 1969 at 19 years old, where he was employed as a carpenter.

Trevor enjoyed swimming at Rock Spring and diving at Shell Wharf with his friends. You could find Trevorlistening to various genres of music, including R&B, Jazz, Gospel, and, of course, Reggie - he was a proud Jamaican man. Trevor's Jamaican dialect was just as pronounced in 2025 as in 1969. Trevor Horace Taffecan be described as a carefree, honest man who loves God and is generous. He would always lend a hand to those who were in need. Trevor loved cooking for family and friends. He even made pudding for local Caribbean restaurants. Trevor knew Christ and encouraged others to know Jesus for themselves. Trevor Horace Taffe loved his children and spent his latter years showering love upon them. He doted on his grandchildren, wanting them to know about their Caribbean heritage.

Trevor Horace Taffe, 75, of Miramar, FL, passed away on May 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by two children and he is survived by his life partner of over 20 years, Flavia DeSouza, his 11 children and a host of grand and great-grandchildren, family, friends, and loved ones.
