Victoire Mercedes Simeon

Victoire Mercedès Louisgene was born at Saint-Louis-du-Nord on December 26, 1931.  She was the legitimate daughter of Denis Acelus Louis and Francine François-Louis. In September 1949, she got married to Emile Simeon who preceded her in death on June 27, 2003.  From their union resulted four sons and five daughters: Lamenais Simeon, Milceau Simeon, FrineauSimeon, Midas Simeon, Rita Simeon Choute, France Simeon, Emide Simeon, Flarie Simeon-Surlin, and Judesse Simeon.

Unfortunately, Mercedès had to face not only the death of her husband but also the deaths of two of her sons: Frineau and Midas and as recent as five months ago the death of her youngest child/daughter: Dr. Judesse. She also witnessed the deaths of two siblings Lamercie Louis-Charles and Emilio Louis, and the death of her son-in-law: Domage Choute.

She left behind to cherish her memories:

Her sister : Assenière Charles, ses frères : Frank Louis, VilnerLouis, and Jean E. Louis

Her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Noël Simeon, Madame Isaac Jean-Jacques, Remercile Louis, Anne-Marie J. Louis, Rolcame Louis, Rositha Louis, Madame Anthonius.

Her grandsons and granddaughters: Nerlande, Ruth, Judy, Tomekia, Melody, Rodney, Nixon, Sonia and her husband Zacary, Patrick, Youcled, Judley, Lesly, Lesline, Louisa and Marc, Valery, Laura, Luc-Rodes, Jackner, Terry, Justine, and Christopher.

She also left to cherish her memories a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
