Victor E.W. Moliere

Today, we celebrate the life of the youngest child of the late Verginaud and Laure Moliere.

Victor Emmanuel Weber Moliere affectionately knownas Fr. Weber was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on October 8, 1937. As he used to say in his sermons, ‘life after his father passed away was not easy and after his mother it got worse’.

Fr. Weber wanted to be a priest but loved the gathering of a group called Petit Vermisseau, and later when heaccepted Jesus as his Savior, became a member of their church. As a member of Petit Vermisseau, he grew in faith from the help of a father figure named Fr. Alphonse. Heattended the Evangelical Theological Seminary of Port au Prince, Bolosse to deepen his knowledge in the word of God. Fr. Weber left Haiti in 1973 and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. He was an active member of Missionary Baptist Church of Boston under the leadership of Pastor Vedrine Soliny.

Fr. Weber acquired a few certificates while providing for his family.  In December 1986, he came to Orlando Florida on vacation and loved the climate so much that upon returning to Boston went into prayer seeking God’sguidance about relocating to Orlando.  Finally, in June 1988, God guided him to move to Orlando FL.

Fr. Weber never wanted to be a Pastor because he wanted to be free to preach the Gospel wherever it was needed. An ordinary man with an extraordinary call, Fr. Weberhad a ministry to preach, wherever and whenever. Hepreached every 1st Sunday night at Premiere EgliseBaptiste Eben Ezer d’Orlando from 1992 to May 2019 under the leadership of Pastor Pierre A. Michaud; on second Sunday mornings at Eglise Baptiste Philadelphiefrom 1996 to 2019 under the leadership of Pastor Jean Carroll Bernadin; on third Sunday mornings at EgliseBatiste Haitienne d’Apopka from 1995 to 2018 under the leadership of Pastor Enaud Celestin and Pastor Bruno; In the evenings at Eglise Chretienne Nouvelle Jerusalem from 1995 to 2019 under the leadership of Pastor Jean Eloge Cineas; On fourth Sunday mornings at Premiere Eglise Baptiste Haitienne de Kissimmee from 1991 1990 to 2018 under the leadership of Pastor Fritzner Brouardand Pastor Wilfrid Lubin; In the evenings at EgliseMission Haitienne Baptiste de Bethany from 1996 to 2018 under the leadership of Pastor Raymond Saintil; And other churches when the month carried five Sundays. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, and Olga his older sister who also preceded him in death was the caregiver for all the siblings.
