Yvonne Vonny Beauplan

Yvonne "Vonny" Beauplan was born on Tuesday, February 24, 1959, in Deconje, located in the historic coastal commune of Môle Saint-Nicolas, Haiti. Born to Ferdinand and Genivia Beauplan, Yvonne was the fifth of ten siblings. She went on to become the devoted mother of two amazing daughters, Josee and Iveline Box, and the proud grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter, Ivonnia Louissaint.

From an early age, Yvonne—affectionately called Ma, Von, Vonny, Mo, and Miss—showed signs of exceptionalism. She excelled academically, graduated at the top of her class, and deeply honed her faith, which guided her throughout her entire life. By the age of 18, Yvonne had graduated from Béthel College in Jean-Rabel, where she received her bachelor's degree, and attended the Bonea School of Nursing in Port-de-Paix, where she earned an advanced degree in nursing. Following graduation, she helped manage the first medical clinic in the small town of Ton Pedi. But her absolute greatest joy in life was her family.

Driven by a profound love for her family and an awareness of her aging parents and their young children, Yvonne made the brave decision to immigrate to the United States in March of 1981. She worked tirelessly to sponsor the education, travel, and migration of her beloved parents, siblings, and extended family, ensuring her family stayed connected. In Florida, where she settled, Yvonne became widely recognized as a reliable worker, a community leader, a devout evangelist, and a foundational pillar.

Yvonne’s compassion, empathy, Godliness, and devotion as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, prayer partner, advisor, and friend were her defining traits. She possessed a magnetic, charismatic personality, a deep understanding of humility and humanity, a compelling voice, an undeniable devotion to family, and a captivating smile.

On Friday, April 24, 2026, Yvonne Vonny Beauplan peacefully went home to be with her heavenly Father. Her family and community take deep comfort in knowing that her vitality, sincerity, strength, benevolence, and love will continue to cultivate beautiful memories and live on in their hearts and minds forever.

"God works all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose,”

A poignant excerpt from Romans 8:28 found in one of her final meditations.
