Cassandra Jourdan Obituary

Cassandre Vickie Jourdan was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 29, 1994. She is the daughter of Paul Jourdan and Cloraine Cherizien-Jourdan. Cassandre attended Hebron SDA school during her formative years. It was at this Christian School that she learned to trust and worship God. She was loved by her teachers and classmates. In 2006, she moved to Orlando and finished her 8th grade year at Robinswood Middle School. She attended Wekiva High School and graduated on June 2011. She attended Seminole State College and Valencia College and completed her Associates Degree in Education. While working at Wesley Child Development Center, she was also working towards her BS in Education. She was very much loved by her parents, staff and students,. She was very patient, diligent, and attentive in taking care of her children and always made sure they were in a loving and safe environment. At home, she was the princess of the family, especially to her father. At church, she was very active: She was part of the praise team, children ministry, and sometimes she delivered some messages that touched and transformed lives of others. In her free time, Cassandre had a love for photography. She also loved writing and reading self-improvement books. Cassandre was very compassionate. She liked to help those in need. She maintained good relationships with her friends. She was the most loving, caring, and encouraging friend you could ever have. She would always listen to your problems and be willing to help or give advice. Her energy could fill up a room. In her last few months, she drew nearer to God. She spent time talking to God as a friend, asking him for his love and mercy. In her journal, she writes "Never leave me Lord, keep me under your wing". She acknowledges in her journal "I am a child of the Most High, the Creator of this universe. The one who knows all things. The one who is in control". She told her closest friends that God was trying to show and reveal Himself to her through her life. Living in His will was all she aimed to do. She knew God was preparing her for a Testimony. On Thursday, February 1, 2018 Cassie was called home to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her Parents: Paul Jourdan and Cloraine Cherizien Jourdan.
