Jean Pierre Obituary

Jean Claude Pierre was born on March 28th, 1964 to the parentage of Marie Therese Metayer and Ceriles Pierre in Port de Paix, Haiti. He was the oldest of thirteen children and the first grandchild of Elaine Metayer. Growing up in Haiti, Jean was a photographer yet he pursued an education at the Brother Academy. In 1992, at the age of twenty-eight, Jean decided to set for America and search for a better life.

While in America, Jean worked numerous jobs, never wanting to settle and always looking for better opportunities. In 1999, he met and married Micheline Michel. Jean was a caring and hardworking man. Everyone he met was charmed by his character. He was known as the goofy man with the beautiful smile who cared deeply for his family and would do anything for them.

Jean was a devoted husband, father, brother, cousin, and friend allowing everyone to know he was just a call away. Being a man of little worries, he would usually be found in his home playing loud music and cleaning while singing along and being care-free. He also enjoyed going to the park and taking walks around the neighborhood conversing with neighbors and friends along the way.

On March 12, 2020 Jean was called Home to Heaven’s Gates. Although Jean has left us in flesh, we all know that he lives on in spirit leaving behind a great legacy of happiness and smiles.
