Joséphine, Pierre (born Joly), the second child of five children: Wilfrid, Marie Carmel, Mirlande and Joseph Joly, was born on November 26, 1943 in Thomonde, Haiti. She began her primary schooling in her hometown, Thomonde. Joséphine, then moved to Port au Prince, Haiti at the end of the 1950’s to continue her secondary studies, along withMrs. Colimon Boisson, who taught her in her private lessons.
On July 25, 1964, she married the love of her life, Gesner Pierre (decease). The Lord blessed their union with 3 children: Rommel, Sylla and Ney. Joséphine worked during the 70s and 80s at the Carrefour Reception Center that looked after orphans.
In 1989, Josephine relocated to the United States where she made Boston, Rhode Island, Philadelphia, and finally Orlando her home with her valiant son-in-law, Yves Antoine Mauzart, by her side.
She has always been recognized as a servant of the Lord who has often suffered too much.
She was a part of this generation of mothers who are disappearing more and more.
On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Joséphine Pierrewas called Home to be at peace with the Lord in the Heavenly realm. We grieve deeply because Joséphine is no longer with us. She is gone in the flesh, but her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and love. This mourning affects the Evangelical Community, Her friends, Her families: Pierre, Antoine, Joly, Belizaire, Joseph and a host of other family members and friends that have been affected by this loss.
Rest In Peace!
