Marc Davidson

On Friday June 1st  2018,  God called home one of his child to be by his side.  He left this earth in his favorite place Haiti and in the hand of his loving and devoted wife.

He was born January 25, 1950 in Petit Goave, Haiti to Lherisson Marc (Father) and Marie Lilia Georges (Mother). He lost his mother at an early age.

At the age of 20, he left his father house and began living independently. He joined the Haitian Army during the Duvalier Presidency.

In 1968 he met with Marie Solange Charles and had their first child Mona. During their time apart, he had his children Jacqueline, Reginald, Linda, Mackson, Mackenson, and Solange.

In 1980, Davidson, seeking for opportunity, traveled to the United States of America. Six years later he reunited again with Marie; together they had Esther and Makendy.

As a Commercial Truck Driver and Security Guard he was able to take care of his family and eventually buy a home in 1987 in the heart of Miami, Florida.

In 1990 he officially became a Citizen of the United States.

He enjoyed traveling and gambling. His favorite destination was Haiti. Every year he would purchase merchandise from United States, ship it and sell it in Haiti.

Between the years 2008-2010 he caught a stroke that slightly affected his left side. He was diagnosed with High blood pressure, Diabetes, Heart and Lung problem… From that point forward his lifestyle began to change. He retired in 2011 from Bradco. He married his love, Marie Solange Charles in March 2013. He loved his wife and children very much. His spirituality and humility grew over the years. Even as his condition progressively worsened he still had the support of his family and it did not stop him from traveling back home. He always considered Haiti as his home sweet home and while there he gave his last breath on Friday, June 1st , 2018 with his wife by his side.

Wife: Marie Solange Charles; Children: Mona, Linda, Reginald, Mackson, Mackenson, Solange, Esther, and Makendy; Grandchildren: Morine, Jozaria, Itchwa, Anais, Lorenzo, Sahira, and Gabriel, along with a host of other family and friends affected by this lost.
