Marie Mirlande Philemon was born on February 5th, 1959, in Leogane Haiti. She passed away at 64 years old on October 24th, 2023, at the Advent Health hospital in Orange City Florida. She was the third of six children in the family. For over 14 years, she served as a nurse auxiliary with many Pediatricians at the Ste Croix hospital in Leogane Haiti. Many people became her friends because of her service in the medical field. She was well known and loved by many citizens for her passion for serving others.
Mirlande was also a unique mother. She gave birth to a unique son that she named Emmanuel Reno. She was also a mother to her younger brother and sisters. She was a pillar in her family and neighborhood.
Despite Mirlande illness since her childhood, she lived a wonderful life. She was full of love for everybody. She spent most of her time laying down on her bed. However, using her cell phone, she had an interactive and social life. She kept in touch with everybody, especially her good old friends. She was informed and knew everything going on in our community.
Mirlande also understood the fundamental principles of life. Her life was based on Love, Friendship, Service and Peace. This is a big loss for her son Emmanuel Reno, a big loss for her brothers and sisters Yves Philemon, Marie Mardy, Wilken Roger, Marie Andre Orange, and Marie Antoine Roger; a big loss for the whole family, and for all her friends. We believe that she is in a better place right now; she’s no longer suffering. Rest in peace Mirlande; You will be missed.
