Mercidieu Elisee

Mercidieu Elisee was born on April 15, 1955. He was the first-born son of Mr. Emeric Elisee and Ms. Annalia Daniel Elisee in Anse-a- Foleur, Haiti. Spending most of his young life there, he completed his education in Anse-a-Foleur. As a young man, he married his first wife and that union produced a beautiful daughter, Rosemerline. Mercidieu later migrated to the Bahamas, and in 1981 to the United States in pursuit of a better life. On this pursuit for a better life, he met his current wife and

soulmate, Marie Therese Marcial, and that union produced their son, Erick. Mercidieu was a dedicated individual. He worked tirelessly close to 30 years as a chef at Dennys. ‘Papa or Merci’ as they often called him, was a diligent worker who worked two jobs to provide and care for his family. He took great pride in his job.When not at work, he was a loving husband, devoted father, and faithful friend. Even with his busy schedule, he made sure to attend weekly church services with his wife to continue to devote his life to God. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching CNN, Family Feud and Jeopardy.  He was a simple man in the way of needs. His family was his priority and while here with us he provided us with so much more than money could ever buy. He gave us himself and to have him was truly a   blessing. Today we celebrate the phenomenal and exemplary man he was so not to let him be forgotten, but to inspire those of you still here to be a thanks to God as my loving father, Merci Dieu!

On Sunday March 25, 2018 Mr Mercidieu Elisee was called Home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are:

His brother: Merice Elisee.

His uncles & aunts: Louise Elisee, Mme Massillon Laurent nie Marie Elisee, Madeleine Elisee, Dieujuste Elisee, Cedieu Elisee.

His nephews & nieces: Max Elisee, Jeffrid Elisee, Alex Elisee, Jenita, Vanessa, Mosben Elisee, Jacob Pierre.

His cousins: Ava familles Elisee, Daniel, Martial, Auguste, Timoyhie,      Marcellus, Bajard Pierre, Jean Pierre, Orasmy, Joseph, Laurenville, Louis, Etienne, Alcidonis, Paul, Orvil, Decade, Toussaint and a host of other families and friends who have been affected by this loss.
