Vivian Lewis

Vivian Elaine Lewis was born on January 4, 1953, in Sanford Florida. She was the youngest of two daughters born to Russell and Nancy Waldon. Vivian graduated high school in 1971 from Melbourne High School. She went on to attend Florida Technological University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1976. She worked as an Elementary School teacher at Orange County Public Schools for over 30 years. She used her energetic and enthusiastic personally to mentor and mold her students. 

During her tenure as a teacher, she was instrumental in starting new after school programs and grant writing for the schools. Vivian loved to draw and would made pictures for home and grandchildren. She like to spend time in the yard gardening and would produce fresh vegetables to eat. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach in her free time with family and friends.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Nancy Waldon and her sister Edna Waldon Jackson. She transitioned from this life on July 30, 2023.

She lives on through: her three children Andre’ Alloway, Dana Canty, and Brock Lewis; five grandchildren, Raven Alloway, Lark Canty, Sora Canty, Darion Alloway, and Aujnene Alloway; brother-in-law, Charles Jackson Sr; nephews Keith Johnson and Derek Johnson and host of cousins and devoted friends.

Vivian was truly loved and will be missed by all!
