Yony Monde Obituary

Yony Monde was born to Marie Aristide and Jacques Monde (deceased) on December 31,1977 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Yony came to the United States when he was just 5 years old. He grew up in Little Haiti/ Miami where his mother and father made it possible for him to achieve the best education and raised him to be a respectful and intelligent young man.

Yony was a great son, brother, uncle, friend and fiancé. He was a kind and generous man who touched the lives of many with his warmth and compassion. He was known for his infectious smile and his ability to make anyone feel at ease in his presence with his soft spoken nature. He was always mutual in conversations and never the one to take anyone's side.

Yony later began his career as a motor vehicle operator. In an effort to pursue better opportunities, Yony decided to move to Maryland. There he further developed his career by joining the post office where he was able to do what he loved; driving trucks. He was a hard working, caring, and passionate worker which made him loved and admired by his peers.

While doing what he loved at the Post Office Yony met the love of his life, Sierra Holland. The two of them fell deeply in love and Yony asked her to be his wife. When Sierra came into his life he gained a new loving family. They were in the process of planning a lifetime together.

Yony’s life long dream was to establish a nonprofit to feed the homeless and help veterans. He was in the process of settingup his nonprofit before his sudden passing.

Yony passed suddenly on April 17, 2023. In his memory his life long dream will forever live in our hearts.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
